About Kurt's garden/yard:

When Kurt moved into his home in December 2021, the backyard was a blank slate: just an oak tree and a concrete basketball pad. But with a vision inspired by Doug Tallamy, he set out to create a haven for wildlife.

He started by solarizing and preparing the soil to then sow native wildflower seeds. By the following summer, the once-empty yard had come to life with birds, pollinators, and other wildlife.

Eager to do more, Kurt added a wildlife pond that quickly became a hotspot for creatures of all kinds, creating a dynamic and diverse ecosystem.
